How SortMeOut.Ai uses Google user data
Limited Use disclosure for Google API Services data in SortMeOut.Ai.
On this page
SortMeOut.Ai's use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements (Reference 1).
What Google data we access
If you connect Gmail (and optionally Google Calendar), SortMeOut.Ai may access:
- email message metadata and content, plus mailbox state needed for labels and drafts
- calendar event information (read-only), if enabled
How we use Google data
We use Google data only to provide user-facing features that are prominent in the SortMeOut.Ai interface, including:
- organizing email into categories
- applying labels and (optionally) archiving mail based on your settings
- generating drafts you review and send
- answering chat questions with citations grounded in your inbox/calendar/docs
- follow-up tracking and follow-up draft creation (draft-only)
Google requires apps to request the minimum relevant permissions and provide accurate, prominent disclosures about Google user data usage (Reference 1).
What we do not do with Google data
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not send email automatically (draft-only).
- We do not allow humans to read your Google email content except with your explicit consent for support or for security/legal reasons (Reference 2).
Data retention
We retain Google data until you disconnect the integration or delete your account (see Privacy Policy). Disconnecting stops access and syncing.
